Detailed help and information for getting started with SewWrite are available by clicking the "Help/Help Topics" menu item.
The rulers displayed in SewWrite can be calibrated using the "Tools/Calibrate Rulers" menu item. This is important for accurate placement of lettering in existing embroidery patterns.
Your favorite embroidery editor can be selected from the "Tools/Embroidery Path" menu item. It will automatically display embroidery files saved from SewWrite.
You can choose various embroidery file properties from the "Tools/Stitch Props" menu or set them for the current file when you open the "Save As". Embroidery options such as density and outline satin width can be set.
Monogram properties can be applied to selected text by clicking the desired property from the monogram drop-down list.
Existing embroidery patterns can be used as templates for the Polygon/Bezier/Arch styles, to assist in accurately sizing and placing lettering created in SewWrite.
Context-sensitive help is available by clicking the solid question mark on the toolbar and dragging it to the item requiring "help", and clicking there.
