Creating Custom Profiles

To create a custom profile for converting media, do this:

1.Select all of the imported media in the CyberLink MediaEspresso window that you want to convert.
2.Click on the Convert button.
3.Click on the New button to open the Custom Profile window.
4.Enter a Profile name for the custom profile in the field provided.
5.If you are converting video files, select the file format (or container for the video file) for the converted file from the File format drop-down menu.
In the Video section, select:
the format of the video from the Format drop-down menu. The video formats available is dependent on the file format (or container) you select.
the Resolution of the video from the drop-down menu.
the video file's Aspect ratio from the drop-down menu.
the video file's Bitrate or quality from the drop-down menu.
the Frame rate from the drop-down menu. Select Auto if you want CyberLink MediaEspresso to select it for you based on your other selections.
In the Audio section, to customize your video file's audio, select:
the audio compression type (if applicable) you want applied to the video's audio from the Format drop-down menu.
the audio sampling rate or quality of the video's audio from the Sampling rate drop-down menu.
the audio compression rate or quality of the video's audio from the Bitrate drop-down menu.
6.Click on Next to go to the next Custom Profile window.
7.If you are converting music* files, select:
a file format for your music file from the Format drop-down menu.
the audio sampling rate or quality of the music file from the Sampling rate drop-down menu.
the audio compression rate or quality of the music file from the Bitrate drop-down menu.
8.If you are converting photos*, select:
the photo file format from the Format drop-down menu.
each photo's Resolution from the drop-down menu.
select the Keep aspect ratio check box if you want to maintain each photo's aspect ratio during conversion.
9.Click OK to save the custom profile.

Note: * this feature is not available in some versions of CyberLink MediaEspresso.
