Adding and Deleting Chords

Capo may not catch some quick chord changes, or detects too many. Capo allows you to add and delete chord entries to suit the song you're working with.

Insert a new chord

• Move your cursor to the part you want a new chord added.
• Press the 'K' key on your keyboard, or
• Press the 'Detect and Add Chord' button located on the bottom toolbar.

NOTE: When you drop a new chord entry, Capo will run a detection at the point where you placed the chord marker, and usually you don't need to change the chord that Capo found. If you need to change the detected chord, just follow the steps for changing a pre-detected chord.

Delete a chord

• Select the chord you would like to delete.
• Press the delete key.
