Loading Music Into Capo
Capo can play songs that are in MP3, AIFF, WAV, M4A, and the iTunes Plus format sold in the iTunes Store. Here is how to get the music into Capo.
As soon as you add a song to Capo and start working on it, Capo will save your song as a Project.
A Project in Capo stores a copy of the song from your music library along with some useful information about the song such as the detected chords, beats, and key. Capo also stores the playback speed, regions, chord edits, or any other changes you made to the project since you first opened it.
To Open a Song
- Drag and drop the song you want to learn directly from Finder or iTunes onto your Capo application icon, or
- Choose File > New and then drop the song onto the Capo window that appears.
Opening a Project
- File > Open… or File > Open Recent…
- Select the project you'd like to work on again
- Click the Open button
