Using Capo's built-in beat detection system, Capo's region feature allows you to place regions very quickly. By not having to spend time trying to find seamless start and end points for a loop, you can spend more time practicing than fiddling with the software.
| NOTE: To disable snapping to the beat grid, hold the shift key while dragging the region with your mouse. |
To help distinguish regions from one another, you can color code and rename regions to your liking. While Capo offers generic, chorus, verse, and bridge regions that vary in color, you are not limited to using regions to mark sections based on their default names. For instance, you may choose to use green "Bridge" regions as a code for sections that you have practiced extensively.
| NOTE: Changing a region's color will not change its name. |
In addition to changing a region's color, Capo also allows you to easily rename each type of region. For instance, you might want to give regions a name according to what is contained in the song between the region's bounds, such as "Solo Pt. 1" or "Fill".
Whether you prefer to work with a "sliding region" that you position around the parts of the song you are learning as you go, or you wish to make changes to a list of regions you have built up over time, Capo allows you to resize, move, and delete regions easily.
