Adjusting Song Speed

Capo employs a mastering-quality time stretching engine which allows you to slow down your music without changing its pitch.

The ability to slow down your favorite music without affecting its pitch is invaluable for practicing solos at a comfortable pace.

In the Heads-Up Display, click on the SPEED button to activate the controls. The playback speed control has 5 preset speeds, but you are not limited to the presets. You can also adjust the playback rate to any value in between.

Select a playback speed preset

• Click on one of the preset labels (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1x, 1.5), or
• Press the up and down arrows on your keyboard to switch between the preset options.

• Place your mouse pointer underneath the preset labels. When the slider appears, do one of the following:
  • Drag the slider knob to your desired speed level.
  • Use your mouse's scroll wheel (or two-finger trackpad scrolling) to adjust playback speed.

Disable snapping between presets

• By default, the slider will snap to the preset values to allow you to easily choose the preset speeds using your mouse. If you wish to disable snapping, hold the shift key while dragging the slider.

Increase or decrease the speed finely (in 1% increments)

• While holding the shift key, press the up or down arrows.
